Insurance
In the event of an accident, the hirer is liable for all damages including salvage charges, legal fees and damage to third party property. Insurance has to be purchased at $25.00FJD per day. Subject to non-breach of the rental agreement liability of damage incurred to the value of $2500FJD and $3500 for 4 wheel drives is the sole responsibility of the hirer. (Upon purchase of the insurance the liability of damage incurred to the value will decrease from $2500FJD to $1500FJD and $3500 to $2500). Towing fees, underbody, windscreen and tyre damages are entirely at renter’s risk.
Petrol
Petrol is not included in the rates. Vehicles will be supplied full tank and must be returned full. A fee of $30.00 plus the refuelling charge will be charged if the renter fails to do so.
Driver’s License and Age
Drivers must be over 25 years of age with a valid local or overseas full driver’s license and a Clean Record.
Vehicle Availability
We try to supply the vehicle you request, but we reserve the right to supply what is available.
Extension of Hire
All extensions can be made superior to our notice. Extension of cars must be confirmed at least 12 hours ahead of the termination of the rental agreement.
Additional Hours
Will be charged at one third of the daily rate.
Security Bond
Payment of estimated cost of hire plus a security bond of $500.00FJD to $1000.00FJD depends on the type of vehicles is required at the commencement of the rental. Final adjustments will be made on termination.
Cancellation
In event of a cancellation prior 24 hours if free of charge an administration fee of 20.00FJD per day will be charged against the total amount paid for the rental.
Speed Limit
Town areas: 50km/hour.
Outside town: 80km/hour except where 60km/hour sign is displayed.
Parking & Traffic Fines
To be paid by the hirer. Any parking fines can be paid directly to us.
Credit Cards
All major credit cards accepted such as :
Visa, JCB, American Express, Master Card and Diner’s Club International.
Importance Note:
• Total VEP rate subject to 10% Service Turnover Tax & 6% Environment Levy – 01/01/16
• F$10.00 Stamp Duty charged per hire.
• Credit Card Surcharge: 5% of Total.
